- Modular design: each band was built in a separate removable module for easy assembly and test
- The simulator could be mounted in a 19 inch rack, or in a stand alone protected case as shown above
- Each band could be switched on, to be connected to a signal generator, or the input could be terminated to allow the receiver system to sense the receiver noise without outside interference
- Front panel lights to indicate proper functioning and the current state of the simulator
- Built in internal power supplies for all internal components
- All measurements were captured electronically using RFSpecTest, our computer automated test software program
