- Late 1970's to Early 1980's
- 1979 - BSEE Worcester Polytechnic Institute

- 3 year program consisting of rotational work assignments, classes at Syracuse University, and weekly in-house lecturers coupled with practical problem solving and report writing.
- Software programming and simulation
- Digital design, build and test
- TTL, CMOS, and ECL designs
- Engineering lab and test equipment experience
- 1982 - MSEE Syracuse University
- Mid 1980's
- B1-B AN/ALQ-161 EW System
- System design and development of microwave RF subsystem
- Each RF Subsystem contained 13 RF/microwave modules
- Developed computer programs to predict RF and microwave performance
- 500 production systems built and tested
- Developed computer automated production test software
- Controlled 3-Bay microwave test rack, programmed in HP Basic
- Developed computer automated engineering test software
